CloudCart → Shopify

A BMW parts catalogue where the model and OEM number lead to the right product.

My role: data migration, catalogue structure and development of the Shopify interface.

The task
To transfer the products and old URLs and make searching by BMW model and OEM number clearer.
What I did
I rebuilt the navigation and product pages, transferred the catalogue and mapped the old URLs to the new ones.

From an old archive to Shopify

OpenCart → Shopify

I used the archive of my former Valisimo store to demonstrate the migration process.

My own build using archived product data. The demonstration does not accept orders or payments.

The task
To separate usable products from outdated records and preserve the links between data, images and URLs.
What I did
I selected and imported 9 products and 33 images from an archive of 56 product rows, with no personal data.

19 verified pairs of old and new URLs, and comparisons of the navigation, products and cart.
