SEO for your online store

SEO helps people who are already searching for your products find your Shopify store. The results build up gradually, so the work is monthly and follows a clear plan.

In short

What does SEO for an online store include?

The first month is a technical audit, keyword research and a map showing which page covers each topic. After that, every month I work on the priority pages, the internal links and the technical fixes, and send a report. The work is from €400 a month excluding VAT, with a 3-month initial period. I do not guarantee rankings, traffic or sales.

What is the difference between SEO, CRO and technical optimisation

Who it is for

  • The store works and you want visitors who do not come through paid advertising.
  • Almost every new customer comes through paid advertising at the moment.
  • People search for your products, but find your competitors first.

Scope

What’s included

  • First month: a technical SEO audit: indexing, duplicate URLs from variants and filters, sitemap, speed
  • First month: keyword research and a map showing which page covers each topic
  • Setting up and checking Google Search Console and its link to GA4
  • Every month: titles, meta descriptions and heading structure on the priority pages
  • Every month: internal links between collections, products and content
  • Technical fixes made directly in the theme, not with one more app
  • Structured data: product, collection, navigation and questions
  • Content briefs: which page the text is for, what topic it covers and what it must contain
  • A monthly report on the first of the month: work done, next tasks and Search Console data
  • A 45-minute call every month
  • About 7 hours a month in the base package, at the published hourly rate

What’s not included

  • I do not guarantee rankings, traffic or sales
  • Buying links, PBN networks and listing in spam directories
  • Paid advertising and the budgets for it
  • Writing copy and product descriptions in volume. The brief is included; writing is an add-on
  • Translation and work on a second language
  • Work outside the Shopify store
  • The Shopify subscription and the cost of apps

How it works

  1. Before the start

    Conversation and check

I look at the public version and at the demand for your products. If monthly SEO does not look justified, I will tell you before we sign a contract.

  2. Month 1

Audit, keywords and a map of the pages

I carry out a technical audit and keyword research, and decide which page will cover which topic. From then on, every month has an ordered list of tasks.

  3. Every month

    Work by priority

I work on the priority pages, the internal links, the technical issues, the structured data and the content briefs. You get a report on the first of the month.

  4. Every quarter

    Reviewing the direction

We compare the Search Console data with the map of the pages and decide what stays, what goes and what is reordered.

Conditions

What I need from you

  • Collaborator access in Shopify
  • Google Search Console: owner or full access. If there is no property yet, I create it.
  • Read access to GA4
  • Agreement that I may change titles, meta descriptions and copy on the pages
  • Which products and categories matter to the business, and in which season
  • One person who makes the decisions, and 45 minutes a month

What we check at handover

  • A monthly report on the first of the month: done, next and Search Console data
  • Every change to the pages is logged with a date, so it can be matched to movements in the data
  • A written list of what is outside my control: competition, season and algorithm changes

Frequently asked questions

Why is the initial period 3 months?

Three months allow time for a technical review, implementing the initial priorities and an initial measurement. After that period, we decide whether it makes sense to continue.

Do you guarantee first place on Google?

No. Rankings, traffic and sales depend on the competition, demand and changes at Google. My commitment is to work to the agreed plan and to report every month on what has been done and how the data is moving.

What is included in €400 a month?

About 7 hours of work a month at the published rate of €55 excluding VAT. The time goes on the priority pages, technical fixes in the theme, internal links, structured data, content briefs and the report. The first month is for the audit and the page plan.

When is the price above €400?

A catalogue of several hundred products, a second language, more content each month or accumulated technical issues need more hours. After the audit, you get an exact monthly price.

How is it different from the basic SEO in a store build?

In the build, I set up the main titles, descriptions, structure and sitemap. The monthly subscription continues with work on selected pages and searches, tracking the results and making adjustments.

Do you buy links?

No. I do not buy links, I do not use PBN networks and I do not list the store in spam directories. Practices like these can harm a store long after the contract ends.

When will I see results?

I cannot promise a timeframe. Technical fixes can show up in indexing fairly quickly, but movement in rankings depends on the competition and demand. That is why we follow the Search Console data and adjust the plan.

Do you do SEO for a store that is not on Shopify?

No. I work only with Shopify. If the store is on another platform, we discuss the migration first. The SEO subscription can start once the new store is stable.

Can I cancel the subscription?

After the sixth month, you can cancel with 30 days’ notice. All changes and data stay in your store and in your accounts.
